About Us

` We are located at 1476  Andrews Store Road in Pittsboro.  We pride ourselves on small group sizes and the ability to give attention to each child.  We also strive to maintain good relationships with our parents and community.  Affordability, understanding, and respect are part of our goals and business model. Our program encourages the children to decide what to do from a range of activities. We use principles that reinforce the respect-based care for the many facets of humanity.

Our program follows a Montessori model. The children in our programs take the lead of what activities we do, given the options of several activities. We will offer arts and crafts, sports, free play, organized outdoor group games/activities, and even allow for quiet outdoor space for reading or mindfulness activities. We also encourage responsible citizenship and will offer activities to help beautify the campus such as watering plants, picking up sticks and rocks off of play areas, caring for gardens, building tents for shade, and other activities that help the school and engage the children in constructive learning.

We are currently serving  exclusively Willow Oak Montessori School.

Any Willow Oak Montessori student from 1st to 8th grade is welcome to join us for our program.
